Kind of odd to do such a cold piece when it's turning to a beautiful, warm spring, isn't it?
I woke up the other day feeling really blue thanks to a super depressing dream, and I guess I wanted to paint something to reflect that. I wanted the entire piece to feel very cramped and closed in, kind of hopeless as the subject is slowly consumed by the ice cave itself.
Also wanted to work on making an actual environment for my character instead of just slapping them on a textured background. It's pretty simple but it's a start, I think.
